As Tax Analyst you comply sustainability, policy guidelines, ensure adherence to sustainability. Plan through activities in its routines that promotes compliance with the indicators and global ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) commitments of the company, ensuring the connection between its actions and sustainable development in the chain.

Actively participate on the tax compliance oversight and tax planning for entities under International Market. Regions in the scope: Europe (mainly Austria), Asia, Middle East and Africa (overall oversight).
Advisory, reviewal and approval on the calculation of income taxes, WHT, VAT, among others, as well as coordinating the submission of ancillary obligations on each region; Transfer Pricing strategy, control and documentation; management of intercompany agreements; and Advanced Pricing Agreements (tax rulings) negotiation and implementation.
Monetizing tax credits and cash flow optimization topics; monitoring tax legislative changes to find tax saving opportunities; support on M&A and other corporate restructuring projects; and support on planning/creation of IP and funding structures are part of the tax planning scope.
To provide day to day tax advisory and planning to internal stakeholders on any on-going or planned transaction and operation.
Participate on inquiries of tax inspections and litigations, liaising with tax authorities and providing tax audit support for the company for corporate taxation, commodity taxes and statutory payroll deductions.
Work alongside the accounting team to ensure the tax impacts are reflected correctly in our books.
Minimize tax liabilities through informed application of tax laws and regulations in all the territories.
Bachelor’s degree in Law, Accounting, Economics or equivalent discipline
Master in Tax Law or/and Finance is desirable
Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in multinational or large Consultancy/Audit Firms/Tax Law Firms
In-depth knowledge of tax and business laws and regulations
Familiar with the tax regulations in the European region, (Austria), and OECD guidelines
Tax planning, supporting projects with the highest legitimate tax saving as possible
Knowledge and involvement in international holding structures, tax treaty network, fund structuring, tax policy, and tax risk management
Tax due diligence, tax structuring for acquisitions and divestments, SPA support and post-acquisition tax structuring
Knowledge of CIT, VAT and WHT compliance/advisory
Prepare tax structure papers, tax opinions, M&A reports, and tax analysis
Fluent level of verbal and written English, German and Portuguese languages are a plus
